    Install & open
    On macOS, drag the app to Applications. On Windows, run the installer.

    Enter your room code
    Paste the code shown on your phone and click Connect.

    Pick the target window
    Choose Keynote, PowerPoint or your PDF viewer from the dropdown. The helper sends each click to that window — even if it's in the background.
macOS: "app is damaged" or "cannot be opened" warning

The app isn't signed with an Apple Developer certificate yet, so Gatekeeper blocks it on first launch. It's safe — here's how to open it:

  1. Unzip the download and drag StageRemoteHelper.app to your Applications folder.
  2. Open Terminal and run:
    xattr -cr /Applications/StageRemoteHelper.app
  3. Double-click the app. If macOS still warns, right-click it → Open → Open.
  4. On first launch, grant Accessibility permission: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → toggle StageRemoteHelper on.
Windows note: SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info → Run anyway.
